Quick Buying Tips
Get the size right
Fit matters more than any spec. We'll check your height, reach and riding style and set the bike up for you. Brands' size charts are a starting point, not the final word.
Ride it first
A short test ride tells you more than a spec sheet. Ask either shop about test rides, or rent a bike and try the trails before you buy.
Budget for the extras
Leave room for a helmet, pedals, a pump, a lock or lights. For mountain bikes, a tubeless setup and good tires make a big difference on our roots and rock.

Buying a Bike at Elphi
Do you offer test rides?
Yes. Ask in Gibsons or Sechelt, and we'll set up a bike in your size when we have one available. You can also rent a bike to try the local trails.
Can you order a bike that isn't in stock?
Yes. We can order most models from Santa Cruz, Norco, Specialized, Giant, Liv and Polygon, and from Kona, Rocky Mountain, Transition, Cannondale, Forbidden and Cervélo. Each brand page shows the current lineup, and the ones we have on the floor are marked in stock.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, and everything else too. Our mechanics service all makes and models, including suspension and e-bikes. See our service menu.

Ask us. We aim to match advertised prices from authorized Canadian retailers on the same item.
